I have never liked shutters because of the ones that were in my parents’ house when I was growing up. There were cords on them, and one got tightly wrapped around my finger. Thankfully, my dad was able to free my finger before any damage was done, but I had never liked that kind of window treatment since. That changed though when I went to visit my aunt and saw the window plantation shutters that she had. Granted, shutters are gorgeous, but I always thought they all had that cord that was unsightly and dangerous.
Her shutters had no cords at all, and they would be perfect even in a house where there are small children. I don’t have any kids of my own, but I am hoping to change that very soon since my wife and I had been discussing her biological clock! Knowing that we could have beautiful shutters in our home that would be the safest for a child growing up made me want to look even further into these particular ones. She told me the company name where she purchased them from, and I went to their website to get more details.
The first thing I noticed on their site was a sale for 40 percent off. I knew that shutters were going to be more expensive than what we usually bought to cover our windows, but I also knew that this was a one time purchase too. Their site even explained about a lifetime guarantee, which made me want to buy the shutters even more. My wife and I looked at the different shutter designs, and it was pretty easy to decide what we were going to choose. Now that they are installed, our windows have never looked as fancy as they do now. And, in the long run, we saved money by choosing this option too!
